Vonage has a NEW service for UK customers

Looks like my friends in the UK are about to have a new service from Vonage and The Cloud where they will be able to make calls from The Clouds hotspots at "landline" prices. With this service, Vonage will certainly take a share of the mobile market.

You need to be a Vonage subscriber that has paid for the Wi-Fi service (7.99 pounds). With it, you will be able to make calls from any of The Cloud's hotspots in the UK. As folks enter an area covered by The Cloud, the new handset will grab the signal, allowing calls to be made....of course if they wander out of the area, the call will drop so the traditional mobile phone will have to be used to continue chatting.

Hey...this a good opportunity for someone to develop a phone that will do both......
