Recycle, trade, return for cash or donate

Did you know that HP offers customers several options for handling their aging computers while also minimizing the impact on the environment—including product trade-in and leasing services—in addition to recycling services?

Recycle

HP makes it easy to recycle used HP inkjet and LaserJet cartridges and will pick up any brand of computer equipment from your home and/or office. HP's state-of-the-art processes and policies ensure that unwanted hardware and printing supplies are recycled responsibly.

HP Trade-In

HP Trade-In offers customers the opportunity to trade-in their used equipment - HP and Non-HP – and upgrade to new HP technology.

By using the HP Trade-In Program customers are receiving credit for the value of their old products. Offers could vary by Country and Region. Used Equipment collected through the HP Trade-In Program is either sold on the secondary market or recycled through our HP environmentally responsible recycling process.

Return your company's computer equipment for cash

HP Financial Services will pay your company for qualified equipment you no longer want or need. Because we have expertise in equipment remarketing, we will refurbish and resell the equipment, paying you either a flat fee or sharing the proceeds with you. We remove all of your data using anywhere from a one- to three-pass overwrite - or more, depending on your preference - to ensure data security.

HP makes it easy to donate your used computer equipment. In the US, this program is made possible through a partnership with the National Cristina Foundation (NCF). HP also partners with Computers for Schools in both the US and Canada.
