It's Been A Long Time Coming But ....

.... We Are Going To Get A NEW iPAQ !

The HP iPAQ hw6940 Mobile Messenger has appeared on HP's website.  This is great news for those of you itching for that NEW iPAQ.

BUT...there is always a but...a word of caution. Even though it is on the web site and even though I believe that it is close (operative word), I chatted with the folks at HP Shopping and they are saying that they have NO idea when (or even if) it will be released and of course, everyone else is MUM.

Checkout the demo ad when you go...it does not give a lot but it is slick advertising.  If you click the like below, you will see the HP page with all the specs....I think I like it.

As a long time Ipaq fan - this is great to see.
I also caught the RX4000 device on some web sites over the weekend.
It looks like HP has decided to stay in the mobile device market. I think it is a wise decision

I agree Andre! I have missed the roll out of HP devices but maybe the wait wil be worth it.

The RX4000 looks slick. As for the 6940, I posted the "blurb" because I think it is close to reality. I don't recall seeing the "NEW" on the picture so when I saw it, I thought I'd put it up to start the juices flowing....
