Nokia to put Microsoft search on cellphones

Nokia, unquestionably the largest mobile phone provider, has agreed with Microsoft to add Live Search capabilities into Nokia's Mobile Search.  Now this is going to allow users to access Live Search from their Nokia N-series multimedia phones and other compatible Nokia phones using Series 60 software.

I like this and hope that it leads to bigger announcements from Nokia and Microsoft.  The recent new "N" series phones are spectacular and if they had the Microsoft OS for those that want it, it would be huge...HUGE!  Only time will tell what comes down the line....we can only hope!

Wow. That is a big win for MS I would think, a very encouraging sign in their efforts to catch up with Google in a lot of the 'web space' sort of areas. Thanks for the post Jack ...
