Video Eyewear to Make U.S. Debut

The MicroOptical Corporation, the leader in eyewear video viewers for the portable electronics industry, announced that its myvu personal media viewer will make its U.S. debut for the mobile industry April 5-7, 2006 at CTIA Wireless 2006. Attendees can have a personal demonstration of how the product enhances mobile entertainment in booth 4957, which is located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

When plugged into a mobile device, the myvu viewer presents a large TV-like experience that mobile devices' small displays cannot match. MicroOptical will demonstrate how the small, ultra-light eyewear viewer enhances current and future mobile applications such as high quality mobile TV and interactive gaming.

"Mobile devices will remain in their current form factor for years to come. The size of their displays continues to be a major roadblock for a satisfactory user experience," said Tony Ho, Director of Business Development of MicroOptical. "The myvu viewer is designed to address this issue by providing hands free, head-up access to a large, bright quality image that's daylight viewable. The myvu viewer, which offers privacy by design, truly enables users to watch anything, anytime, anywhere, and any way they want it."
