The SAMSUNG SPH-P9000 - Pretty Slick

So you don't want to carry all those extra little accessories with you, eh?  Do you just want to grab one device and be on your way? At first glance, this NEW Samsung addition looks pretty slick!

When Samsung unveiled this mobile converged device, I looked at it and moved on but I have been thinking about it ... it has a lot of potential. The SPH-P9000 is the true converged device capable of voice and multimedia data communications through Mobile WiMAX technology.

Utilizing Mobile WiMAX and CDMA EV-DO connectivity, access to the "net" will be easy and with the ability to be on the net and have a simultaneous voice connection ... it is an intriguing device.

This device uses Microsoft Windows XP as the operating system has a five inch WVGA screen and a 30GB hard for storage.

I liked the way the QWERTY keyboard was integrated providing a slim sleek unit.  There is a MP3 player function, VOD, and a camera for your multimedia entertainment and all this in a device that a little over a pound ... very interesting.

There is no question that more will be coming but this one has peaked an interest but.....

There is always a BUT!  Unfortunately, the SPH-P9000 will be launched in Korea during the first half of 2007 so I guess the question is "will we ever see it in the US?"
