Robert Levine reported today that Microsoft plans to join the "Battle for Video Downloading". Not only are you going to be able to play those cool science fiction epics but now you will be able to watch them too.
Robert indicated that Microsoft said last night that it will offer this service beginning Nov. 22...just in time for Thanksgiving! In part, Robert said:
Microsoft has negotiated the rights to rent or sell more than 1,000 hours of material from CBS, MTV Networks, Paramount, Warner Brothers and Turner Broadcasting, along with the martial arts show “Ultimate Fighting Championship.” Some programs will be available in high-definition video.
