Logitech ... Quality Recognized for Excellance in Design and Engineering

Nine Logitech Products Honored With CES Innovation Awards

Nine Logitech products were named 2007 CES Innovations award winners for excellence in design and engineering. The awards were officially announced today in New York by the Consumer Electronics Association; all of the award-winning Logitech products will be on display at the 2007 International CES tradeshow in Las Vegas, on Jan. 9-12.

"In this year of exciting new products by companies worldwide, we are pleased to have so many Logitech products recognized by this prestigious organization," said Guerrino De Luca, president and chief executive officer of Logitech. "These awards truly show Logitech's ongoing commitment to innovation, quality, and design."

The Logitech MX Revolution cordless laser mouse -- An honoree in the Computer Hardware category, the Logitech(R) MX(TM) Revolution cordless laser mouse transforms the experience of finding and manipulating the vast amount of digital content on a person's computer or on the Web. The mouse features hyper-fast scrolling with a revolutionary alloy wheel -- the MicroGear(TM) Precision Scroll Wheel -- that spins freely for up to seven seconds, spanning hundreds of pages with a single flick of the finger and setting a new benchmark in scrolling efficiency. Computer navigation is also enhanced with an innovative One-Touch(TM) Search feature that allows people to select a word or phrase on a Web page or in a document and, with a single click, view Internet search results on that subject. And with an ergonomic design, the MX Revolution offers a new level of comfort -- it simply becomes an extension of the hand.

The Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard -- An honoree in the Computer Hardware category, the Logitech(R) diNovo(TM) Edge keyboard breaks new ground in technology. It is Logitech's first rechargeable keyboard and delivers innovative features including an integrated touch-sensitive navigation-and-scroll panel, and embedded Bluetooth(R) wireless technology. Meant to be seen and touched, the comfortable new keyboard, with a high-gloss finish, is laser cut from a single, semi-translucent piece of black Plexiglas(R) and set into a brushed-aluminum frame. Its minimalist style is further evident in the limited number of buttons and the dynamic, backlighted icons embedded within the keyboard, which are invisible when not illuminated. The keyboards fusion of premium technology and aesthetics adds a sense of prestige to any den, office or living room.

The Logitech G25 Racing Wheel -- An honoree in the Electronic Gaming category, the Logitech(R) G25 Racing Wheel offers advanced features which, until now, could be found only in custom-made racing simulators. Logitech's most-advanced gaming wheel ever, the G25 wheel delivers advanced features including a six-speed gated shifter and clutch pedal; two high-torque force-feedback motors; an 11-inch leather-wrapped wheel; and a full 900 degrees of rotation. The wheel, shifter and pedals are made with premium materials such as stainless steel and leather, delivering the look and feel of parts from a race car cockpit. The Logitech G25 wheel helps enables people to bring a lifelike racing experience into the home.

The Logitech Z-10 Interactive Speaker System -- An honoree in the Computer Accessories category, the Logitech(R) Z-10 Interactive 2.0 Speaker System includes technology never before used on computer speakers. With built-in touch-sensitive controls and a backlighted display that shows digital-music track information, a clock, volume and more, the Z-10 speakers are meant to be touched and seen -- in addition to filling a room with studio-quality sound. By putting touch-sensitive controls on the face of the Z-10 speakers, Logitech has eliminated the need for people to toggle between applications to control their music on their computer monitor. Taking up minimal space, the Z-10 speakers make an elegant addition to a desk, tabletop, or any other place where people might use a PC.

The Logitech FreePulse Wireless headphones -- An honoree in the Wireless Peripherals category, the Logitech(R) FreePulse(TM) Wireless headphones for iPod and MP3 players make a great companion for the morning bus- or train-ride to work, a trip to the gym or a jog through the park. Each headphone contains a precision-tuned 30 mm neodymium driver, which pumps out rich, full audio. And when the bass boost feature is activated, the drivers deliver intensified bass performance. The headphones offer improved wireless performance with Bluetooth 2.0 Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) wireless technology. People can simply plug in the adapter to any player with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, put their player in their pocket and enjoy their music wirelessly. No more cord tangles, snags or kinks.

QuickCam Ultra Vision webcam -- An honoree in the Digital Imaging category, the Logitech(R) QuickCam(R) Ultra Vision(TM) webcam delivers a true-to-life video calling experience by delivering twice the image clarity offered by typical webcams. The webcam combines an extra-large, precision-engineered glass lens with a low f-stop setting, increasing the amount of light entering the webcam and precisely focusing that light to create sharp, vivid images. Even in difficult lighting conditions -- such as low-lighting, or intense back- or side-lighting -- QuickCam Ultra Vision delivers premium performance, thanks to the Logitech(R) RightLight(TM) 2 technology, which intelligently adapts the camera's video settings based on the environment in which the camera is used. Logitech's new webcam also features a premium 1.3 megapixel sensor and supports the High-Definition (HD) video format, allowing people to create video clips and watch them in a wide-screen format.

The Harmony 1000 Advanced Universal Remote -- An honoree in the Home Entertainment category, the Logitech(R) Harmony(R) 1000 remote adds a touch of luxury to the award-winning family of Harmony advanced universal remote controls with its touch-sensitive color screen. The Harmony 1000 remote's touch-sensitive screen makes the one-touch activity controls even easier by displaying the important controls when they are relevant. And unlike some of today's high-end universal remotes, the Harmony 1000 remote controls any device with an infrared receiver -- including VCRs, digital video recorders, high-definition televisions, and many household appliances. Using radio frequency (RF) technology, the Harmony 1000 remote can also control multi-room entertainment systems and high-end components hidden behind closed doors, when used in combination with the optional Logitech(R) Harmony(R) Wireless Extender (sold separately).

QuickCall USB Speakerphone -- An honoree in the Telephones category, the Logitech QuickCall USB Speakerphone for Internet Calling delivers premium voice quality in a speakerphone by using a two-microphone array that can capture voices and sounds from a wider area in a room. The QuickCall speakerphone includes Logitech's RightSound(TM) technology, which virtually minimizes echoes caused by a speaker and microphone in close proximity. The speakerphone features all the controls people need to pick up and hang up calls, adjust volume and mute calls; and when privacy is important, it is easy to plug a headset into the speakerphone's built-in auxiliary port.

Cordless Internet Handset -- An honoree in the Telephones category, the Logitech Cordless Internet Handset makes using Skype(TM) on the PC as easy as using an ordinary cordless telephone. The stylish phone offers a crystal-clear calling experience at up to 165 feet (50 meters) from the PC. The Skype Certified(TM) handset supports the key calling functions, including Skype to Skype calling, SkypeOut(TM), SkypeIn(TM), call forwarding to mobile and landline phones or to another Skype user name, and conference calling. A color LCD displays available Skype contacts, offers access to Skype voicemail, and enables people to check incoming and outgoing call logs. Additional features include a hands-free speakerphone mode, an illuminated keypad, and a variety of ring tones. The handset and its charging cradle can be kept in any room -- and the phone remains wirelessly connected to the PC and Internet through the USB base station.
