OK, so you just bought your first Pocket PC, now what? I suppose most folks want to go out and get a lot of programs right away but I really suggest not doing that. Take your time, learn your device, see what is on it and get a real good feel for how it operates.
If you immediately load it up with "stuff" then you will just have too much to absorb and the chance of you losing out on the real power of the device is very real. In addition, if you "buy stuff" right away, you may well find that it was not what you wanted. I suggest that you join a few mobile device sites and browse the forums to see what folks are saying. On the left side of this page are some sites that you can start with....they are EXCELLENT, filled with incredible amounts of helpful information and best of all, you will get to interact with some pretty spectacular people.
Alright, alright, so you really do want to put some programs on....I guess it is just in our nature. Well, you are in luck because there dozens and dozens of FREE (that's right...FREE) programs available for you to use on the Microsoft Marketplace site. This is a great place to visit and I urge you to bookmark it. You will visit often!
But really, take my advice on this...TAKE YOUR TIME! If you do, then I guarantee that you will throughly enjoy you first attempt at being able to Experience Mobility!
