TechEd is in Boston....and it is BIG!

TechEd has arrived and it promises to be one spectacular event for those in attendance...and for those who are not there will be terrific updates on the Virtual TechEd site.

New to this year's TechEd is VirtualTechEd.com. It is here that you can see the best breakout sessions, most interesting demos and executive interviews throughout the week....you won't see everything but you certainly will get a great flavor for the event.

Today, Don Sorcinelli, Steven Hughes and I attended a session for MVPs that covered a myriad of areas. Sean O'Driscoll, global director of the MVP Program and Technical Communities for Microsoft gave a presentation in the morning discussing the progress of the MVP program, where it has been and where it will go. The afternoon had a variety of breakout sessions that small groups of MVPs were able to offer input. As always, the sessions were terrific...Microsoft listens!

In the afternoon, we wandered over to the Boston Waterfront and registered at the convention center. We were fortunate to meet up with several folks that we knew and took some time to chat and have a preview look aroung the convention. Prior to the Keynote, the three of us were helping out with some issues on the deployment of a few mobile devices.....

Of course you always get to see the latest and greatest toys...of course I ran into another MVP that had my favorite "mobile device"...Motion's LS800. He just got it and was quite happy with the new addition to the cadre of devices he uses.

The best description of the keynote is for you to see it...and you can watch and listen HERE at VirtualTechEd.com

So forgive the lack of news this week....you know what I'll be doing. I will try to get a few items up if time allows.
