I notice that Darius over at Pocket PC Thoughts posted early this morning that Cingular is now offering an update for the Cingular 8125. But there is a word of caution that he expressed indicating some of his readers and readers elsewhere have reported that the ROM is incomplete. Check this link to see the 8125 upgrade info
While I was looking at the update for the 8125, I decided to look over and see what was new for the 2125 and they have a ROM upgrade available for the Cingular 2125. To check to see if you need this update on your smartphone, go to Start, Settings, More, System Information. Compare it with this picture:
