The other day I mentioned a little about Windows Vista beta 2 and how John Clyman from PC magazine wrote a short review that you might want to check out. I looks interesting and folks are excited to get the beta but the question is: "Should I download or request a DVD?"James Kendrick from jkontherun had some interesting thoughts that you might find interesting. In part, James had the following to say:
Windows Vista beta 2 downloads could create dangerous bandwidth
The first public beta for Windows Vista is generating such a huge number of downloads that it potentially could affect the bandwidth for the rest of the Net. It is a big download and coupled with the sheer number of people trying to download it Microsoft has a concern that the Net could be affected.
