Nokia - New Products Spark Growth in the Industry

According to IDC, Nokia is making strong inroads in the enterprise market with its N-Series line. New products that target specific market segments more effectively as well as increased competition will drive further growth in the smartphone market, the analyst firm concluded.



There is no question that Nokia has developed some pretty slick devices with their new cadre of N series devices. I enjoyed the N-90 device very much...in particular the ability to take great pictures and video made this device a favorite. The N-70 has a great form factor, takes excellent pictures...it's a nice device.

The new introduction of the N-91 with its ability to play 3000 of your favorite tunes...Yes, I said 3000 songs coupled with its 2 mega pixel camera will certainly prove to be a hit! Just think...a phone with 4gb of storage...WOW!

And following the N series tradition of incredible quality is in my mind a dream device, the N-93. This device has a "Twist and Shoot" form factor with 4 modes: Imaging mode for capture, View mode for reliving memories, Fold open mode for talking and Fold closed mode for carrying. Now that is cool!

Of course, for those of you that want connectivity, you will find with this device that you have integrated wireless LAN (802.11 b/g) and UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)as well as Bluetooth wireless, a USB 2.0 (via Pop-Port™ interface)and the is TV out support. I can't wait to see this device and try it features.

So far, my favorite is the N-90. I am always switching phones but I always end up using the N-90 when I have that important event to attend...it is to good not to have! More to come............SOON!
