LCD Prices Expected to Drop

I was about to buy a new LCD monitor for my office when I decided to wait...WHY? Well, Dan Nystedt of IDG News Service wrote an interesting article on how LCD prices are expected to drop. I'm glad I read Dan's article....I think it might be worth waiting a bit to see what happens. In part, thius is what Dan had to say:

New manufacturing plants and weak demand could lead to bargains on PCs and LCD TVs.


A string of new LCD factories being built, combined with slow demand for notebook and desktop PC screens, caused LCD prices to fall during the first three months of the year, and the downward trend is expected to continue, vendors and analysts say.
