At 8:30 this morning I see a site that has as their only post for the day a thoughtful post indicating that they were not going to post anything today out of respect....nice touch and I applaud the thought. The immediate story under it was a story on Sprint posted many hours before...then all of a sudden my news feed started going nuts.
What do you mean, you say?
Well, all of a sudden it showed multiple NEW posts coming BETWEEN the old Sprint story and the story about respect and it indicated that the NEW items that were appearing were done HOURS before. How can this happen? Is there something funky going on with newsreaders OR is somebody thinking NO ONE will notice?
Hmmm.......

The scoop! The scoop!
Regardless at least the site recognized the event. It is a lot more than a lot of sites, yours included, did. Why would you even bring something so trivial up on a day like today?
Steve, it is absolutely NOT trivial. It is just another in a series of incidents that show just how little respect he has for his readership.
Simply stated, he is faker! He certainly had the right to post a "scoop" and I am sure that readers would have understood if he decided to post a story after what he had initially said and they would have respected his decision.
But to post the stories and then adjust the time so blatantly to make it look as if he put them up prior to his 911 post just reaffirms to me his absolute lack of respect for the people that visit his site and the community in general.
But more importantly, to say what he said about respect and then just come straight out and lie is an unconscionable act towards all those people so deeply involved in the tragic events of 911.
