There is a pretty cool piece of software out there called iLauncher. It lets you launch software and documents from your Today screen!...and you can customize your Pocket PC the way you want it to look!
It is a pretty slick program for your Today screen that is feature rich and it only costs $9.95

I *love* iLauncher. I think it is the leanest, cleanest desktop add-on for accessing your favorite apps, documents, system meters etc. One of my favorite things about it is that it works SO well on a converged device - i.e. it makes great use of the D-Pad.
I agree Patrick! I just tried it the day I posted this item...I was impressed.
Yup, and I'm betting it will grow on you. I had previously used other leading today 'replacers'. And whiole several of those are excellent, I like the fact that iLauncher leaves me less 'cluttered' feeling. Still has lots of cool features, but it's the lean aspect that especially works ...
